Itinerary

Day 01 :

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport – Rest & Recover in Arusha

Touch down at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where a friendly representative welcomes you with a smile. Drive to Arusha, nestled between Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro, and enjoy a restful evening preparing for your safari journey.

Day 02 :

Tarangire National Park

Depart after breakfast for the wildlife-rich plains of Tarangire National Park, known for its ancient baobab trees and Africa’s largest herds of elephants. Scan the savannah for lions lounging in the sun and birds nesting in tall acacias. After an exciting game drive, journey to the lush highlands of Karatu for your overnight stay.

Day 03 :

Southern Serengeti (Ndutu) – Calving Season

Today you descend through Ngorongoro Conservation Area and enter the open grasslands of Ndutu, at the southern edge of the Serengeti ecosystem. Here, wildebeest calving season is in full swing a spectacle of survival, where newborns take their first steps and predators lurk nearby.

Arrive at your tented camp and enjoy a relaxing evening with nature all around.

Day 04 :

Full Day Game Drive - Ndutu Plains

Spend the full day exploring the Ndutu plains, where over 8,000 wildebeest are born each day during peak calving season. Follow lions, leopards, and cheetahs as they move stealthily among herds. Photograph scenes of life and survival, and enjoy a bush picnic under shady acacias.

Day 05 :

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, drive back through the Ngorongoro highlands and descend 600 meters into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, a natural sanctuary for an incredible variety of wildlife including the endangered black rhino.

Explore this enclosed Eden and enjoy lunch by the hippo pool before heading back to Karatu for your final overnight.

Day 06 :

Departure

Savor your final Tanzanian breakfast and take in the tranquil highland air before transferring back to Kilimanjaro International Airport. Your guide will assist with check-in for your flight home, or onward to Zanzibar for a beach extension.
