Itinerary

Day 01 :

Pick up from Dar-Es-Salaam - Saadani National Park

Your safari begins with a warm welcome in Dar-es-Salaam. Our professional driver-guide will pick you up from Julius Nyerere International Airport or your city hotel and escort you north along the Indian Ocean coast to Saadani National Park (approx. 4.5–5.5 hours depending on road conditions).

Upon arrival, settle into your lodge and head out for your first game drive across the scenic coastal plains. Be on the lookout for giraffes, reedbucks, hartebeests, and perhaps even lions in the grasslands that stretch toward the sea.

In the late afternoon, return to camp for dinner and a peaceful night surrounded by the sounds of nature.

Day 02 :

Full Day Game Drive - Saadani National Park

Awaken to the sounds of birdsong and crashing waves, then set out for a full-day game drive within Saadani’s unique ecosystems. Traverse through savannahs, mangroves, coastal thickets, and riverine forests that provide habitat to everything from buffaloes and elands to warthogs and baboons.

Enjoy a picnic lunch under the shade of acacia trees before continuing to the Wami River, where you might see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birdlife such as African fish eagles and kingfishers.

Return to your camp in the evening for a hearty dinner and storytelling around the fire.

Day 03 :

Drive back to Dar -Es-Salaam – Departure

After breakfast, enjoy a final short morning game drive or a peaceful coffee overlooking the wilderness. Then begin your journey back to Dar-es-Salaam, with optional stops along the way for photos or refreshments.

Arrive in the city in the afternoon and be dropped at your airport terminal for your departure flight or at your preferred hotel for post-safari relaxation.
