Itinerary

Day 01 :

Fly from Zanzibar to Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Start your adventure with a morning flight from Zanzibar to Arusha. Upon arrival at Arusha Airport, you’ll be met by your personal driver-guide and immediately begin your journey to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most picturesque and wildlife-rich reserves.

Famous for its massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and thriving wildlife population, Tarangire offers a genuine safari experience off the beaten track. Enjoy a half-day game drive, pausing for a picnic lunch in a scenic spot inside the park. Keep your eyes open for giraffes, lions, zebras, and the elusive leopard.

By late afternoon, you’ll head toward the highland town of Karatu, nestled just outside the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Day 02 :

Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha – Departure

After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most awe-inspiring safari destinations in Africa. This UNESCO World Heritage Site boasts a dense concentration of wildlife in a unique caldera environment.

Spend your half-day on a crater floor game drive, spotting black rhinos, lions, hyenas, elephants, and flocks of pink flamingos on Lake Magadi. The lush green landscape and breathtaking scenery provide the perfect backdrop for incredible photos.

Enjoy a picnic lunch by a hippo-filled pool before beginning the drive back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your outbound flight or onward journey.
